Privacy Policy

Closer ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data processed through this application. Contact: privacy@thecloserpath.life.

• Account data: name, email, profile photo (optional).
• CV content: text extracted from the PDF you upload.
• Voice interview: the audio is processed by our voice provider; we store the transcript and a short AI-generated synthesis on our servers.
• Profile insights: five-lens profile and career questions, generated by an AI model from your transcript and CV.
• Usage metadata: timestamps, sign-in events, and basic error logs.

We use this data to build your career profile, surface relevant matches, and improve the quality of guidance you receive. We do not sell your data.

We share the minimum data needed with the following providers:

• Supabase (database, authentication, file storage).
• Vapi (voice call orchestration and transcription).
• Anthropic (Claude model that analyses your transcript).
• OpenAI (used for CV parsing).

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings; deletion is immediate and permanent across all our systems.

Under the GDPR you can access, export, correct, restrict, or delete your data, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Inside the app you can:

• Edit your profile at any time.
• Download a JSON export of your data from Account settings.
• Delete your account and all associated data from Account settings.

We process your CV, transcript, and AI-generated profile on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give before your first interview and can withdraw at any time by deleting your account.
